This Pentagon report says that climate change is as big a threat to humanity as terrorism. And this health secretary has warned that obesity is as big a threat as climate change.
So, by the transitive property of equality,
Terrorism = Obesity
I thought that was rather clever until I discovered that the Surgeon General of the United States made exactly the same claim in March of '06.
"Obesity is the terror within," Richard Carmona said during a lecture at the University of South Carolina. "Unless we do something about it, the magnitude of the dilemma will dwarf 9-11 or any other terrorist attempt."
Apparently, you just can't make this stuff up.
