Thanksgiving, magnified

a84c6_st_thanksgiving2_250.jpg If there's one thing I enjoy more than eating a Thanksgiving feast, it's throwing it under a microscope and seeing all that flavor on a molecular level. Mmmmmmmm....molecular level.....

In light of that, let us give thanks, not only to the Native Americans and the pilgrims who would later repay their noble savage saviors with wholesale genocide, but also to the big dorkuses at Wired. They've put nearly all the Thanksgiving classics under the mic(roscope) for your viewing pleasure.

All your favorites are there -- turkey, cranberry (pictured), bread, gravy, even beer. The only thing that they seemed to have left off the list from my table is McCormick's vodka. It's a long tradition in my family, along with fistfights and a whole lot of crying about who stole who's Social Security check. Gotta love 'em, right?

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving 60 Seconders. And this holiday season, don't forget the McCormick's.
